Who prepares the budget?
The Board of Directors for Creek at Chester HOA prepares the budget.

What goes into creating a budget?
The Association's income and expenses are reviewed along with the governing documents and any regulatory or statutory requirements, and then the budget is created. Income is based upon the number of owners in the Association as expenses are required to be equally divided among each owner. Expenses are based upon approved operating costs and Reserve requirements for the association.

When are the budgets published?
New budgets are published in December and included in the annual Association year-end report. 

Can I see an existing budget?
For this HOA, an updated yearly budget is posted in December on this site.

Who approves the budget?
The Board of Directors reviews and proposes the budget. The budget is voted upon by association members by email ballot. If a quorum is not represented or there are insufficient members to ratify the vote, the Board's proposal is rendered approved per state law.
